  • I was born with 2 VSD and they never closed after birth, it took over my life for 18 years after 2 fontan procedures (look them up on here) many operations. many catherisation operations, all the medication, all the work we (me and my doctors) there was nothin for mr to do i needed a HEART TRANSPLANT, so on july 6 2007 i had it at the age of 18. I am still going strong and am at university studying childrens nursing and i am here 2 say 2 anyone with VSD or HLHS. YOU WILL GET THROUGH IT.

  • I have VSD they told me that i can't do the surgery but the Doc told me that i'll live a normal life and do anything i want to do. So I don't think about a whole lot. They told me this around 13 years old

ventricles r 2 lower chamber of heart, normally rt chamber pump blood to lungs (for oxygenation of blood) and left ventricle to the whole body. there is whole present between the septum of ventricle, this allow mixing of pure (oxygenated) or impure blood, consequences of that appear as symptoms.

    be happy ,and take care

    by anyone of the above,

my personal view is that u must wait for some time and then opt for surgery.

this is very common congenital anomaly and in many cases it will rectify its own.

restrictive means pericardium not allow normal

movements of heart, pericardium is outer most layer of heart.
