Bill Harris has been involved in personal development or nearly 40 years as a seeker, teacher, public peaker, author, musician, composer, therapist, workshop leader, and business owner. A student of ancient and modern wisdom traditions and the intersection of science with spirituality, he has studied and practiced a variety of traditional and modern tansformational practices with many different world renowned teachers.
Bill Harris was selected as a teacher on the documentary called The Secret, because of his extensive knowledge and work in the field of meditation and combining it with psycology and science. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qG_NtUnJzc0
In these talks, he goes into a lot of detail about the benefits of meditation on the mind, body and a person's life in general. There is an enormous amount of information in these talks that can reshape your thinking and your life. This is the new science, the new spirituality and the new mentality that will permeate people's way of thinking and development in the future. The mentality and map of reality we have right now is based on a polarised good, evil and a linear beginning, end view of time. The new mentality will be based on a unified map of reality and a cyclical view of time.
Bill Harris more than any other person, has combined science with spirituality, which can be observed, measured, tested and repeated. He has demonstrated more than anyone else that there are very beneficial effects on the minds and bodies of those that practice meditation and other spiritual practices. Anyone who has used his program will see that right away without looking at the many scientific studies that have been conducted on the effects of this technology.
Bill Harris has enabled the average person, who has never been involved in personal development or any other spiritual or mystical traditions, to make large advances within themselves and become masters of themselves, their destiny and the outside world.

@scientheism doesn't exist. You ask a tibetan meditator, who has no worldly posession, and live in scant but provident condition. These are some of the happiest people on earth. They know they're here for a reason, that is to work out past life transgressions, i.e. karma. Everything sounds like BS, until its happening to you. I learned that the hard way. The suffering on earth....thts another story altogether. Watch videos by 'Alex Collier' he can fill you in in great details, all facts,

@scientheism the world over already has happened, and we are just experiencing it through the illusion of physicality. The only thing tht keeps the universe solid is the Strong and Weak magnetic force. Without which, objects will be able to go through each other like hologram, and intermangle, its no way to live. In spirit form, you are able to trancend into higher planes, where time is immaterial and simply doesn't exist. humans are the only species that has found a way to measure sth that

@thegreatdant I will qualify my statement, spirit is the ontological primer. looking through the lens of science to explain that which is spiritual is like using a microscope to count the rings on saturn. Not that it cannot be done, science has only come thus far. What i mean by not being bothered is that time and space is an illusion. Time is not linear, it can be quantified and manipulated, sped up, slowed down, and halted, thats what quantum physics tells us. Every thing that is happenign

@scientheism Thanks - your response is more succint than most of the so called 'gurus' I've heard backing their views only with pseudo science. One thing still bothers me though.. When you say 'Spiritualists are not bothered with what happens in the world.' what does that mean? Does it mean turning a blind eye to the very real suffering of others? Are you able to expand on that a bit, because at the moment it sounds quite solipsistic?

@scientheism truth be told, sorry to be so righteous but you'll never find the answer is you ask the wrong questions. Spiritualists are not bothered with what happens in the world. The root word is 'Spirit', acknowledging that you are more than a mechanistic cluster of cells weaved together perchance elegently by a nature so random yet curiously organized. Socrates said 'Men, know thyself'. Give meditation a try, its a simple thought experiment.

@thegreatdant My point is, never look for inner wisdom from outer sources. The only way to know for sure is experiencing it urself. Doubt actually helped me find the right direction. Dont believe anything you hear and half of what you see. Science still has a long way to go in the purview of spirituality. One way to unlock the pineal center (the cheating way), is by taking psychedelics like magic mushrooms, LSD, DMT, or supplements like galantamine, melatonin, choline. the hard way is meditation

@thegreatdant Just believing in meditation does no good whatsoever. Impossible to achieve enlightenment. Meditation is the method, not the only one, but the most preliminary and rudimentary to achieve an OBE or astral projection. This is where enlightenment occurs. You travel to places far beyond, interdimensional regions, multidimensional physics acknowledges these places as probabilities in 'brane theory', which exists.
