@Gtfly08 The "Jr" stands for Junior, as his Uncle was also a professional wrestler at this time. His Uncle shared the same name, although spelled slightly differently "Rey Misterio."

To avoid confusion Rey Mysterio was called "Rey Mysterio Jr" in WCW.

@liverpoolad6 The Jr on Rey-Rey's name was from Mexico, where he started. He was Rey Misterio Jr. there and ECW too. I think spelling changed to Mysterio after he started working full-time in the U.S.
