  • Please remind that ' barbarian' simply refers to someone from another culture, not necessarily less civilzed culture.

Even if words are often used in a European/Greek/Latin/etc/ centric pov.

  • :D:D

És most erre csápolnok a volkrokkerek!

  • That solo is so fucking motivating

  • Their newer albums just sound like overproduced mainstream metal, of the kind you'd find on Roadrunner Records. Some may like that stuff. But this albums has more of a earthly feel to it.

  • viking metal is heavy medal influenced by Nordic roots and ballads so tyr would if fact be folk and viking medal so every one shut up

  • @echoside190 Ehm no, that is what many think. but the genre of a band is not based on what they sing about, rather how the music is played and how its compossed. For an example if what u say is true, that means that Tyr and Amon Amarth is the same genre. But Amon Amarth is a DeathMetal band. Tyr on the other hand i would call folk metal, because their music(NOT LYRICS) is highly influensed by their faraoe inheritance.

  • @Erikffs That's what makes one genre different from another...

  • stop calling it viking metal ffs.. u CANT decide a bands genre from what the band sings about !!

  • I just prefer old albums, I can't help it :-)
