A nasheed by Native Deen called 'Rain Song' from the album 'Not Afraid to Stand Alone'

These are the lyrics
Steps out side, into the scorching heat
The well is dry, the children cry
And the lands they claim defeat

Oh my father, is it evil that weve done
He smiles at the child with faith in his eyes
Inshallah the rains will come

This I know, his mercy must be won
Just open your heart, this is the start
Inshallah the rains will come

On him I swear, his will must be done
Like tears from your eyes, pearls from the sky
Inshallah the rains will come

Father gathers, the people for their eyes to see
That if they combine their hearts and their minds
They will turn the deserts green

Side by side, they stand in the burning heat
They pray to the one that brought them the sun
To make the heavens weep

This I know, his mercy must be won
Just open your heart, this is the start
Inshallah the rains will come

On him I swear, his will must be done
Like tears from your eyes, pearls from the sky
Inshallah the rains will come

Like tears from your eyes, pearls from the sky
Inshallah the rains will come

Will come. Shower your mercy and wash away the sun
Will come. Pour down your blessings until the drought is gone
Will come. Soak up our tears and let the rivers run
Will come. Please answer your servants, Allah almighty one

This I know, his mercy must be won
Just open your heart, this is the start
Thank God that the rains have come

On him I swear, his will has been done
He dried the tears from our eyes, pearls from sky
Thank God that the rains have come

  • is there any haraam intremenst in this song??

  • depends on what you consider haraam.

They are a percussions only band

  • @OneUmmahOneLord U R MEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!.......THEY WORKED HARD DOIN THIS NASHEED AND U CRITISIS IT?!!!!!!

  • @lkedir001 how???

  • @4Islam4ever No actually, the hadeeth says that instruments that have strings (guitar, piano, ext...) are haram. They do not use stringed instruments. They use the xylophone, tambourine, and the tabal (drum). Only halal instruments alhamdulilah :)

  • @MrsNelson14 Do you have the hadeeth source to back that up? Never heard of this hadeeth before.

  • GUD SONGS.... I LOVE I.. KEEP IT UP MAN.. ONLY WAHABI SAY HARAM.. NOTHING HARAM FOR THIS MUSIC SUCH A GUD SONG.. LOVE IT..

  • Such beauty of tones and sounds. How can you say this is haraam? Music has roots in nature its self that Allah created so purely. What does it matter if its a strung instrument or percussion? Would Allah punish a bird for chirping the melody of a guitar if it could(and by the grace of god some can. truly remarkable birds they are)? If i remember correctly hadith are not the word of Allah unless you subscribe to the Christian notion that prophets be reincarnations of god?

  • @MrsNelson14 no bro,the only intstrument permissible is the daff, and even then it's only allowed on special occasions etc.Peace and Love

  • @OneUmmahOneLord the only music instrument that i know of that the prophet allowed was the duff instrument

  • @annarell786 Wind and strings harram there is no wind nor string in this nasheed

  • THIS GOES TO THOSE IN SOMAILIA SUFFERING FROM THEIR WORST DROUGHT IN 60 YEARS

  • this is a cute nasheed..mashallah...

  • @lkedir001 it doesnt matter how hard someone works if they r working in haraam

  • @MrsNelson14

May i ask you a question? i know that the strings instruments are haram but does a electric piano count?

i'm not trolling i just want to know :D

  • Ya Allah, send clouds of rain to the people of East Africa during their time of need!
