Old Landrovers are still going strong; transporting goods and passengers through the sand and mud in Africa. Like this workhorse; a Landrover that has been manufactured in 1972 in Zambia. It takes almost the whole day to load cargo and passengers for the 2 hour trip from Mongu to the Zambezi Pontoon. From there it's still a long way to Kalabo.
Filmed and edited by Rob van Acker in 2008
Music recorded with the Barotse Selected Dance Troupe, Mongu, Zambia
