John is creator of the Rock House Method system of learning. He is one of the most sought after teachers in the world. He has 30 DVDs and 12 books out under the Rock House brand name. He has collaborated with and or created instructional programs for Alexi Laiho, Rob Arnold, Leo Nocentelli, Doug Wimbish, Oli Herbert, David Ellefson, Kiko Loureiro, Michael Paget, Alex Skolnick, Buz McGrath, Gary Hoey, Rusty Cooley, Will Adler, Jeff Loomis, Andreas Kisser, Vernon Reid and many others.

  • I got the rock guitar DVDs a long time ago and they really helped me, i may check this out. one question tho. why does it always seem like hes using the same backing track??

  • Well that is becuase he does re uste racks a bit, but with good reason. John is trying to show how with a good rythym track and an understanding of phrasing and the guitar neck combined with good technique you can create anything!

  • @dimeowns100 The ''number things'' is not on the frets. They are on the wood. And when you pick a note they dont hit the wood, but the frets. =)

  • the backing tracks they use give you chance to do alot with them. So me I LOVE EM and john is not only a GREAT ARTST BUT AN AWSOM TEACHER .. he has tought me so much that my friends love to here me play to them and i love doing it .ROCK HOUSE ,,,,,realy does ROCK... Thanks john. loocking forword to learning more to be the best i can be as an artst.
