My original feelings about the meaning of this song, were that JA is singing to Jesus or God, and saying how he would apologize for the way mankind behaves. picturing Jesus in the sun wondering what went wrong with mankind.... the opening verse being about the disjointed relationship between Jesus and the aveage person.....i now know that this song is about a girl who left hime, but honestly i like my take on it better.... If you find your own way, how much will you find?

I believe Mutter means 'mother' in German :-D Craig was SOOO proud to be part German. He had a German flag and took German in high school. His friend who is in Germany now...I asked her how she became interested in studying German and she said, "I guess it was because of Craig", which made me feel so good that he had that influence on her in life and how far she's gone with her studies. It would be so great if you could come to America...don't give up!!

Oh, thats so cool. Its my dream to do an language scholarship in the USA because on day i want to move to the united states. Last year i was too young to do an Language Scholarship. Now im old enough and my school cancel that programm.

@just4256 Oh! Your English is very good!! It must be wonderful to be bilingual :)) We are of German origin :) My mother's family (Strauch) is originally from Germany and my last name is Mutter. My son had a friend who I am still in contact with and she is in Germany right now on a year-long full language scholarship. She says it's pretty cold for summer there...not like our Florida heat!

@just4256 That is very kind of you just4256. January will be 4 years...he would have been 23...I can't believe it. He was a beautiful spirit :))  I will see him again one day and until that day, you are right, he is always with me. He was a REAL BOY, once upon a time. He walked the beach beside me and his footprints have vanished from this earthly shore, but I remember when he was real, and near me. I live in Florida and when I am at the beach I am the closest to him.
