  • Please note the following points to correct the errors in the posts below:

    * The wireless modem is built-in

    * There are 6 total USB's (2 on side, 4 in back)

    * The operating system is a custom version of Linux

    * The WOW! Computer is similar to Telikin and the prices are the same for same size monitors.

    * Tech support is $9.95/month, not $19.95 as stated below.

    * firstSTREET offers a 30 day money-back guarantee - a very rare offer in computer purchases.

We hope this clears up any confusion.

  • @tjstephenjr - You're misinformed.you're comparing the First Street High Definition 20.6" black computer to the Telikin Regular 18" white computer. When you compare the 20.6" models, First Street and Telikinn sell it for the same price. However, First Street's sales staff and customer service staff cater to seniors. Hope that helps.

  • Wow :)

  • Can it run windows 7?

  • My grandfather asked me to look up some information on this computer because he's thinking about purchasing one, but first I have a few questions...

He only really wants to use it to pay some bills online, and to keep financial records....

How simple would it be for him to do both of those things on this computer? It seems like basically your selling point is "Look at pictures your grandkids send you!!"

Thanks for taking the time to read and hopefully respond to this. :)

  • But but - thry forgot the wireless internet isp, that hookup wasn't shown - cost and modem setup. Very little expansion possible with only two usb's. All Mac's are this simple without a Microsoft OS.

  • Telikin also has the 20 in screen. But from what I can tell it is the support plan that makes the difference. Telikin offers a VIP support plan at $9 per mo compared to First Street at $19 per month. Both plans offer remote support but First Street promises no overseas support and english speaking technicians.

  • The First Street one is bigger - a 20" monitor that's HD versus an 18" on the Telikin. It has more memory too but its the monitor that made the difference for me.

  • This is the same as the Telikin Computer

    It's $1000 at First Street. It's $700 at Telikin.

  • how much are these things?
