The rules are modified almost every year or so. Those with the longer stabs and adjustable sights are shooting Open class. Hunter Class only allows a stab of 12" max and fixed pins. That's probably what you are thinking of.

the last time i shot in the md state championships . i thoought u were only allowed a 12 in stabilizer. have the rules changed

Don't get me wrong I love hunting with my compound but if I'm shooting at 3D targets all day I gotta go with the traditional. A 3D compound shoot just seems boring.

You guess should start a smokers round shoots.. Right through the branches... Find a shooting lane and shoot through the branches at unknown distances......
