Well, the first of these "scientists" has now gone public and described what really happened at these conferences 30 or 40 years ago.
Prof. Alfred Kröner has now been personally interviewed and describes how he has been fooled and later misrepresented. I wonder how that makes the people feel, who have fooled, misled and lied to other Muslims for so long.

@beatlesnumber9 , sir i highly believe that your logic in case of HolyQuran is not true at all, The Holy Quran's verses each carry a specific purpose they serve. None has doublemeanings and if the translators are having problem in translating from Arabic(in which Quran descended) to whatever language, then it's their fault.

@ ipsaphasum, sir i think u didn't fully read the Prohet Muhammd's biography, His marriage with Hazrat Ayesha was solemnized after she attained Maturity.

@nutdemon , With all due respect, i read your comment about Jihad. Sir, that is absolutley not true, Islam is a religion of peace. It's just that some arrogant people have taken the part they like out of the Holy Quran. For them u cannot blame the whole Muslim Community. Even Islam condems any such violence. There are so many conditions, after which physical Jihad(as there are two other types of Jihad too) beceomes applicable. So plz stop spreading this hatred.

@JuniAsh73 Anyway, I was referring to the way Prophet Muhammad treated his captives (the 8 men of 'Ukil). He poke nails into theirs eyes, cut off all their arms and legs, and left them to die in a searing hot desert. See the Hadith, Sahih Bukhari 4:52:261. This is just one example of his cruelty.

@JuniAsh73 First of all, the US is not my country nor do I live there. Second, The US gov is "human" enough to keep suspected terrorists captive instead of just killing them like what the Muslims do in the name of Jihad.
Even innocent 16 year old children suddenly show up with bombs in their clothes. Is the freedom of one "suspected terrorist" worth the lives of all the people that he/she can (possibly) kill? Do you have any idea how many random terrorist attacks the US has sustained?
-
wow i am so surprised that you are so positive about your country. i think you dont read news. US have been keeping people without any judicial trials, denying all "humanism" and human rights, captive for more than decades in camps like you know which one. so pls shut your non sense talks here

@lurimalafuan There is confirmation in hadiths, the Quran and the first biography of Muhammad (Ibn Ishaq/Ibn Hisham) for all these allegations. It sounds very harsh, but they're not Western inventions. For instance, most Muslims admit that M married and had sex with Aisha from an EXTREMELY early age, but they find ways to defend it. Likewise most Muslims admit that the Jews of Banu Qurayza were massacred, but they seek ways to justify it etc.
-
@fog0death Silly, you couldn't even find a scholarly book written by a muslim which claimed that the crusades were to erase all non-believers from the world.

@IpsaPaphum are sure! here something, since the war began G.W BUSH has given 1 billion dollar to the chrisitian missionaries who went into iraq (a battle field/ or a minefields as like to think of it) to convert muslims into christians. these missionaries believe they are martyed killed 4 for jesus(pbuh). The so called holy iranian man are nothing but hypocrit, they don't represent the muslim world. And they are so hated even the iranian some iranian people are rebelling agianst them. peace.
All of the verses which contain supposed scientific miracles are very vague and can be taken to mean a number of things, and very often, the supposed scientific miracle is one of the least likely meanings. People often use a psychological tendency called "confirmation bias" which means to interpret information to confirm one's preconceptions and to avoid information and interpretations which contradict prior beliefs. Verses are often mistranslated to make a point.

@thinker6236 The United States will not poke hot nails into your eyes, leave you to die of thirst in a blistering hot dessert with your arms and legs cut off. Modern perspective came into existence because we all agree on one thing = humanism. This is where almost all religions fail. Holy men are good/kind, but unfortunately they only tend to see the good parts of their religion, and fail to see the ugly parts.
