Bonanza wothout Adam is like when (David Duchovny )Fox Mulder left for a little time X Files... and like when (Diana Rigg) Ema Peal left The Advengers. The show isn`t the same.

What about Sheriff Coffee or Tim Matheson, who were also regulars on the show ? Tim and Mitch Vogel were pretty forgetable characters, but not the sheriff.

BonanzaDude553, yes irreplaceable for sure they did great when it came to casting the right actor for the right role, they almost did not pick Dan Blocker for Hoss they thought he was to fat to be a cowboy they want'ed a tall actor for that role , thank god they did not do that

I agree. I think the actors were perfect for their parts. Can't imagine anyone filling their roles.
