A short film I shot with my friends on my Canon t2i. Lenses: Canon 50mm, f1.8, Canon L 24-70, f2.8, and some Nikon primes (85 and 100 I think) with an adapter which caused some annoying lines in the shadows. Oh well, live and learn.

  • what kind of sound set up did you use ... looking to get this camera and this looks great.

  • @kissingkastles I love this camera. But you might as well wait for the Canon t3i which was just announced. That is basically the same camera, but also gives you an articulating screen and audio levels. For sound on this, we used a Zoom H4N and shotgun mic. Worked great.

  • @TheConfessionMovie well when is the t3i coming out, and is it the same price as the t2i? cause I know how this stuff changes every second man and I can't keep up and whats the point of audio levels if you're not useing the audio from the camera anyway? yeah on the zoom h4n and did you use the rode video mic or something else? thanks!

  • @kissingkastles Canon t3i is already out. It's like $899 on Amazon. You could prob get the t2i for a couple hundred cheaper now. I now use a rode videomic pro for on camera sound. With the audio levels on camera, you no longer need the zoom, but can go directly into the camera. With that, you no longer have to spend all the extra time and energy syncing all that sound to picture manually in the edit. VERY big deal. There is a workaround for the t2i, but I won't get into it here.
