Undines also roughly have the same lifespans as Pixies; they're relatively short compared to other monsters, but not as short as Dragons.
However, I've learned that the Magic Banana trick can allow even monsters with short lifespans live longer than their usual length, and be able to compete in the M4 and the Legends Cup when done correctly.

Undine is the true queen of all monsters. Pixie may have a lot more moves than Undine, but many of Pixie's moves are Power-oriented when she's supposed to be an Intelligence-based monster. Undine is essentially what Pixie should have been: a monster having a LOT of Int. techs/moves. Though, Undine has a few Power techs, they aren't essential to her repertoire. Plus, she isn't cursed with a crossover tech like Pixie and some other monsters (i.e. Pixie's got a bugged 1-2 Punch tech from Hare).

How come the monsters in Monster Rancher 2 are always so cool looking? (Despite the not-so-good graphics for the PS1)
