Runescape: (Mini) Ultimate Bork Guide for Beginners!

Alright guys, Bork is easy to kill but make sure you've got 43+ pray and a few prayer potions with you. Food is needed but only for the Dagon'hai Magician who keeps damaging you between 100 - 260. There are safe spots you can use and it would be best to use magic if using them, make sure you have a high magic level 60+. You only need a dragon weapon but I'd say using a whip or godsword is better! The anti - dragon shield is only needed for bronze dragons in the chaos tunnels which can firebreathe 400+ damage on your player if your not wielding one. The falador shield is just my choice but it is handy to restore prayer after passing through the tunnels. Protect melee stops all damage from Bork so using a dragon defender wouldn't harm. Note that using a dragonfire shield is also very good as it protects you from dragons and has a magical special attack to deal a good bit of damage on Bork straight away.

Bork can only be fought once every 24 hours but I'd recommend fighting him every day just for the charm drop and the good xp. It literally is five minutes out of the day and bringing a ring of wealth increases your chances of a better drop including a higher percentage of charms.

For the wilderness the rift I took is the closest to Bork. Saves alot of time and really, with protect item and melee you haven't got much to worry about in the wilderness.

The minions spawn once Bork reaches half health. Do not panic and run around, stay where you are and the minions will use melee attacks on you and not hurt you at all! If you do move they'll use range attacks which could be fatal if you have a low defence. Killing them is up to you, but I'd recommend it for charm drops. If you think you haven't got enough food or pray left then finish Bork and get out of there!

You cannot kill the Dagon'hai Magician unfortunately so you just have to take his hits and eat food when your health is too low. Keep prayer high incase you forget to re-pot. You can kill Bork without any armour if you so wish as he will hit nothing as long as you pray melee. Armour does help though to increase damage on him.

As you can see I had enough food and potions at the end to have another round with Bork as well as making money on the drops. So it is also beneficial in cash terms. Using the ring of wealth is handy for rarer drops and possibly an elite clue scroll.

You can save space in your inventory of course by not bringing an anti-fire shield, falador shield and teleport tablets. It's up to you, bringing a charged glory is wise for edgeville teleport which is right nearby Bork incase you had to leave half way through the fight and wish to restart again.

All in all, he's easy. Get some gear and a good weapon, medium inventory and teleports and your ready to face him. For a faster kill I'd say you'll need 60+ in Attack, Strength, Defence and Constitution. Prayer can be as low as 43 as long as you have plenty of prayer restores. Bork is immune to poison so don't try safespotting with that tactic.

Summoning I wouldn't bother with but it's up to you (e.g. - fighting or healer, you don't need BoB!)

Ranging Bork is the same as magic. Have a high range level 70+, have range pots and good bolts for crossbow, rune or better is recommended.

@jarnojd123 The quest HAS to have been done in order for you to enter the portal, and also Bork is killed once every 24 hrs so keep trying, it should work. :)

Also after what lies below there is a tiny miniquest called the hunt for surok which is required for bork.... U can talk 2 surok right outside the Sara statue in west west varrock. There are many quests but a video quest is highly recommended.
