Earlier this week, President Barack Obama had no other option but to make a statement regarding the Guantanamo Bay hunger strike. News reports claim that nearly 130 of the 166 prisoners are partaking in a massive hunger strike. The demonstrations stem from the confiscation of copies of the Koran and now a federal public defender, Andy P. Hart, was found dead in an apparent suicide. Hart left a suicide note and a thumb drive with files containing information on clients that were housed at Gitmo. RT's Sam Sacks brings us up to speed on the facility that Obama has promised to close.
