Hello Selena fans -- welcome back to ClevverTV. I'm your host Joslyn Davis and today we are bringing you news about Sel's apparent plans to embark on a movie star career. Deadline Hollywood is reporting that SG is set to star in a developing project called "13 Reasons Why." The movie will be based on a book by the same name in which a high school student named Hannah Baker commits suicide, but beforehand she makes cassette tapes for 13 people in her life, explaining the role they had in her death.

Another male student, who had a long-time crush on Selena, finds the box of cassette tapes on his doorstep with instructions to pass them on to a list of other students, almost like a chain letter. Selena is reportedly set to star as Hannah, while Logan Lerman's name is being tossed around for the role of the male student we mentioned.

This looks to be a great role for Selena. The content is clearly a bit more mature, but the book the movie will be based on is within the young adult category, so it's definitely not out of reach. I personally really happy they chose Selena as Hannah. She is a really good actress and i have been waiting for her to break out of Disney for awhile.
