  • The ratio of water to KNO3 doesnt matter.. As long as all of the salt dissolves and you still have a clear solution it's alright. More KNO3 in your water gives better fuse paper, but you need to get your water to a high temperature to dissolve a lot.

  • Maybe you've gotten your answer by now, but I thought I'd try and help out anyway. You can make what's called touch paper by soaking paper, for example tissue paper in a KNO3 solution. Not sure of the ratio of water to KNO3 but I'm sure it's online somewhere. I don't know how hot touch paper burns either, but it could be something fun to try out. If you get some tissue paper from gift wrap places, you could soak a whole sheet, lay it out to dry, and then cut it into strips to make fuse.

  • i love u man !

  • i have that same book its crap

  • is it possible to make a fuse like that with kno3?

  • Yeah, I know!

  • @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

  • Really? I think it turned brand new. I must be stoopid.
