The wrap up from the 1974 Grand Final. How things have changed. Love the cheesy video of Louey and Mike in the top right hand corner. And weren't the presentations quick?

  • Probably a "test colour" transmission from 1974?

  • I was at the game and the turning point was when Sheedy handballed to Michael Green in the 2nd quater who was in the goal square and kicked the goal. At that point I new we were going to winn Go Tiges!!!!

  • @Jezza46 Just to add something there, another reason they don't swap jumpers after the game is because of sponsorship.

  • @gbtrat And no, they don't usually swap shirts these days. Certainly not in the AFL competition.

  • @gbtrat Yeah I love the old scoreboard too. It's now used at Manuka Oval in Canberra. No it wasn't the last time they won the flag. Their next flag in 1980 was their last.

  • was this lous first grand final? And this was recorded in coliur but broadcast in BW.

The colours were so vivid and Mike wearing a yellow adidas top...cooool

  • I love the old scoreboard. So was this the last time the Tigers won the flag? And do many players swap shirts anymore?
