The Qscale was set to 9 which should be around 12Mbp/s. This is a 550D running Magic Lantern.

  • @xtelstar it was dual pass at source bitrate. It's lossy of course.

  • Qscale at +9? is that all the class 10 card will handle? As standard bit-rate on unaltered firmware it is about 42Mbp/s and some people are using -16 Qscale to get about 76Mbp/s with class 10 cards... though I guess all class 10 cards are not equal still seems low though.

  • @DaleCampbellAcoustic My crappy Adata card says class 10 but it performs like a class 4. I just got a new transcend card and it performs much better. I'll post some more videos with the new card and bump up the Qscale levels.

  • @postbreak whats the brand's name of the card used in this vid just to avoid it in case btw good quality vid

  • Which Qscale do you think is equivalent to the factory settings aprox?

    I've been stable with 10 - 11. with a class 6 SD

    Other thing, where are the ISO settings, is it true I can get to like 24.000?
