Tube on Mars!! Phoenix probe

Very curious pictures taken by Phoenix mission on Mars (sol6) from the site Lyle.org and Nasa ressources.
Today the pic #1 has diseappear.

The spring is released from the lander when the biobarier was opened to free the robotic arm.

Dear wanabee2W, thanks for reply, your point of vue is interresting, but, why the "spring" is covered by soil materials? like if it's coming from inside the surface? Phoenix lander can't move it and no clue of re-covering appears.

Thousands of pictures was shot for Spirit and Opportunity and nothing like that was reported. ;)

The resarchers recovered the spring some distance from the lander and saved the spring for later investigation during the mission and currently keep it clear from soil and within reach of the robotic arm.

Great video. Thanks,there is some more interesting stuff on sol5 10:50:44. Lower right corner there is a large rock with what appears to be a round hole. Zoom way in. It looks like another "tube" leading away from the hole in the rock. The end of the "tube" looks like it has a broken piece of the rock attached to it. The rock looks like it has a logo of a "P" on it, but that could be light. Looks like conduit and concrete at a building demolition site. Sol6 is still at available NASA's site.

Hi, thanks for your comments. I've found a picture that seems to be your description. The "tube" has been broken by the showel of Phoenix and at the left we can see on the pile of debris from the digging the other wrapped part of the tube. The letter P is right visible. Please give me the adress of the sol5 because I'm not sure it's the same. ;)

It's the center sring from an auto clutch plate - tricky dickey...

I could probably an external spring type to protect the tube from easily damaged or broken when hit by rock.

you disinformation guys are funny. I've seen the real pictures of the tube systems on mars, you guys can't explain the real ones away, they go for miles an theirs hundreds of them.
