  • Hi, sorry i didn't explain properly, it was in response to the comment by Lekis504, selecting image layer & show transform controls. I can't seem to find them? Also i know how to make a transparent background, but i want to smooth out the edges with feathering, the option for refine selection is never available, do you know what i might be doing wrong?

Regarding photo stitching, is it possible for you to do a tutorial on that?

thanks so much for all your help & advice...its really appreciated.

  • @lemoncitrine Hi, to show transform controls just hit cmd-F, then you will see a little gear icon on the top left. Simply click on that and all the way down you will see an option called show transform controls. Then you will be able to resize easily. The refine selection wouldnt work with just a transparent background, if you mean a image within the background then make sure you click the layer of the image and then refine selection. I will try to have a tutorial on photo stitching soon.

  • hi im using the trail version and im not sure how to get together they both come in different windows.

  • Hi Thanks for all your great advice and for offering to do a photo stitching tutorial, ill look forward to it.

  • @lemoncitrine Which settings are you referring to? Also for photo stitching, it is a matter of cutting the person out of a photo using the polygonal lasso tool and copy-paste to another background.

  • @unoploo Please would you explain these settings? i don't know where to find them.

    thanks.

also do you know if its possible to do 'photo stitching' i want to put a person on a different background?

  • @Lekis504 Hi, I use a program called "ScreenFlow" which is essential for creating great professional screen casts.

  • @unoploo Thank you so much, by the way, can you tell me which screencast software do you use?? thanks again.

  • @Lekis504 Make sure you select the image layer and show transform controls.
