The worst storm of 2009 in Hunedoara

A storm had begun in the city of hunedoara with 5-12 mm hail, intense lightnings, and over 100 liters of rain per square meters. the storm was about half hour long with winds of over 80 km/h, but was enough to flood the streets.Than the sun came out and i've seen the pavement torn off the street from the force of the downrushing water. In the city a lot of trees where torn out by the wind, the roofs of some buildings have been blown clean off.

This reminds me of the time I was out in a storm much like this! Stupid, stupid move... although, it was interesting to see streets flood up to my waist (yes, I waded through it and was hit by a floating car... pretty sweet) and we are in the bald ass prairies. Scary what nature can do when she's pissed.
