It's a Rickenbacker played by David Crosby of Crosby, Stills, Nash (& Young).

McGuinn actually looks better than he did in the 60's.

It is wonderful for those of us who grew up with this music to see it perfomed by the same guys so many years later with such class and grace and style - they put the youngins' to shame!. Some of then aged well - Crosby among them, some did not - and some never had a chance to age - they remained "Forever Young".

It's not the original recording - this is live. There are many subtle differences from the record and you can see the Crosby and McGuinn locking in on stage. It is not a difficult song and they've played it 1000 times and rehersed. Many singers retain there voices well into old age, especially the ones who don't make a living by screaming and shreiking...

I can tell their voices are live - and they sound great - but its the background music - you know how live music can sound tin-y..not as mellow as a recording - but this live music doesn't have that sound - its very smooth..

It does sound great , but the audio on youtube is not the original, and it sure does look like they are locking in on the guitar solo.
From Crosby's looks it must have been done in the '90s, so there was technology to wire up a console on a live date and get a studio qualify rerording. What's the original source of the video?

One of the GREAT songs by a ground breaking groups - turned rock n' roll into Rock. - gogtwashed away by the acid rock tidal wave that they helped to unleash..

No problem and no reason to be embarasssed. As Albert Einstein once observed, "How can we ever learn anything if we're constantly using our knowledge?"

The passages fromt eh Book of Ecclesiastes 3:1 are believed to have originated from King Solomon.

Peace.
