Mad Tv was never a rip off of SNL. in fact, at one point it was actually a lot funnier than SNL. that's how much SNL has sunk.

Are you kidding me? Has anyone seen SNL lately? It is soooo painful to watch, it needs to be off the air. MAD TV had at least 10 brilliant seasons, but I admit it was starting to go downhill, so they pulled the plug. SNL is awful, let it go already. In my opinion at least.
