My main TR(Trick Room) team returned again and I was able to replace Metagross with my brand new Luxray. Luxray is my physical tank, if she can fullfil that with Intimidate and she's a mixed attacker.

The battle: I was worried that the opponent has a Mamoswine in the team and proved to be a huge threat, since none of my pokemon can take any attacks from Mamoswine. OHKO'ing Luxray with a critical was a lucky one. Also there were some nasty surprises during the battle.

Enjoy.

I used Gallade, Luxray, Absol and Togekiss. The opponent used Mamoswine, Honchkrow, Exeggutor and Garchomp.

Christmas Winter white news!
People would like to see Glaceon in the Christmas Winter white. Glaceon takes the third spot and if you like shiny Glaceon, then I can make you happy, because I was able to get one with the help of RNG.

  • Uh, don't you think that using a Discharge Poke on a TRICK ROOM team with 2 electric weaks and only 1 resist is such a good idea? Unless you're using it as an emergency move in case all Trick Roomers got KOed or something... meh, I still think it's just a waste of a moveslot :/

  • I usually use Luxray first, just to see how many targets she can paralyse. If more than one of the opponents pokemon is paralysed, I most likely don't need TR at all. It's also not affected by Lightningrod, unlike all other electric type attacks.

    Sorry for the long comment.

  • Fantastic endgame, full of tension. Solid battle all around dread, you really know how to make PBR fun to watch!

  • Thanks. I appreciate it.

  • I know how protect boosts accuracy 30% and endure speed, but what's so great about detect?

  • Pokemon with Imprison can block Protect if the user has the move too. The pokemon who can use Imprison can't learn Detect. Conclusion is: Detect can't be sealed after an Imprison. That's why Detect is a better protection move than Protect.

  • Haha, Absol and Pressure stall <3

    The end was just amazing.

I think the opponent's name is Aruū, the small vowel kana represents a trailing off sound (ぅ)

Then again I haven't seen a name like that, it's quite strange..

  • ....Holy crapsicles.

  • I think she excepted that a potential Burn + Reflect would cut Earthquake power to pathetic levels, so she picked Fire Blast instead.

  • loved the commentary, terrific battle

  • Wow O_O

Love the team. I laughed at Honchkrows bad predicting :)

  • It'd be nice to battle with you dread.

I've requested it before, when you were accepting challenges(not sure if you are, currently), but I was ignored... meh

I think I'm somewhat good in battling, good enough to be a decent (or nightmare) oponent for the youtube pokemon uploaders, but it seems I can't find a way to get their attention.

If anyone wants to test their skills with me, I'll gladly accept, that way you'll know what i'm talking about.

  • Wow, that was a really good one. I love your Absol's move set!

  • O_O Wow, that was so close! I was wondering, is that Garchomp Choice Speced?

  • AMAZINNG!!!!!

  • That person did seem focused on offensive moves most of the time. Attacking non-stop doesn't necessarily guarantee a victory.
