Do you use any orthotics at this point or use any walking assistance? I regularly turn my ankles, I have no idea how I haven't ever sprained one. My right knee is starting to buckle once in a while, but only after I've been walking a lot (well, walking a lot for me, which is not very much).

Like a bucket of luke-warm water...

My foot drags sometimes and today I fell hard on my knee which is now all swollen. But yes, my feet always have pins and needles. After a while you don't notice it anymore.

Sounds scary. Last week my ankle gave way and completely rolled during a simple stride. I stopped, recomposed myself, then tried again and same thing occured. We are lucky that these things go away when they do. Be careful, and always "assume", that it can happen at any given time. But remember, M.S. likes to play these little games with us during the Summer. Take care.
what does knee buckling mean? Is it you cant flex(bend) or you can't extend the knee?

@surbhihere It's like you are walking and you put your left foot forward for your next step. Then as soon as your put weight on your left leg, suddenly your left knee just gives away and you could fall down if you dont catch yourself!

My knees are buckling so bad right now it's the 2 of them and sometimes I can go right to the floor!! I'm definitely having a relapse right now I know by the pins and needles going down my back when I put my head down!! I'm so bad right now I need a wheelchair to go out!! It comes and goes especially when I've over done it!!

@TheCattyross1 oh no! how long have you been diagnosed for? What meds are you on? When was your last relapse?

My left knee buckles now and then. I've completely fallen a couple of times, thankfully haven't injured myself (yet)! Sometimes I get a little warning it's going to happen because my left arm will go sort of dead/floppy too, but I only notice that when I'm actually trying to use the arm so it's not a reliable indicator. Good luck, you're not alone on that one!
