This is a video diary of a week's stay on Little Cayman Island in the Caribbean. It is replete with all kinds of splendid music to which I do not own any rights. If you're watching it and the sound track is missing, it's because YouTube has decided that this is not kosher, legally speaking.
Speaking of my kind host YouTube, there seems to have been a bit of waffling on its part regarding the allowed length of posted videos. From its inception until early 2009 there was a 10 minute limit on uploaded clips. Then, for about two months, there was no limit. Then there was again. There was no official word on why this momentary opening of the cage door occurred, but there is a lot of online speculation. (By the way, some sources say the time limit is 10 minutes and 59 seconds, but the Tube itself seems to say 10, and I won't risk finding out if the former is correct.)
Anyway, I could not be ruthless enough as an editor to get this video under either time limit -- 10 or 11 minutes. In fact, 19 minutes is what it told me it wanted to be. So it's broken up into two just-about-equal parts.
If you're not too busy, please watch both. And let me know what you think. Thanks!
