Flight Series: Singapore Airlines SQ492

This is probably the last time I will actually film aviation videos at night. It's obviously because of the fact that there is not enough light to see anything and the video becomes grainy with noise. During this flight, I was wearing a batik shirt with the original Singapore Girl's sarong kebaya design and you can see it @ 0:23. The Singapore Airlines experience is unlike any other and I am definitely looking forward for more SQ flights in the future!!!

Love your video, has travelled many times via Dubai to Jakarta,Mumbai,Colombo etc mostly by night and most times on Emirates B777 or sometimes on A330.

You got the atmosphere in your video.

Also, on the SQ Girl's kebaya, there are red triangular designs around the bottom of the kebaya and near the edge of the sleeves... this is not evident on my shirt. One last thing, the SQ Girl's kebaya has a bright shade of blue but mine has a darker shade of blue. So there are differences definitely, but nevertheless it imitates the original design pretty well. One of the SQ Girls on the flight even loved the shirt I was wearing and suggested that the male flight stewards should wear the same!!

Yeah the one I was wearing in this video was bought in Changi Int'l.. for about S$29 and I think it was worth it. You are definitely right that it is not exactly like the one the SQ Girls wear. In fact, during the flight, I stood next to an SQ Girl and immediately you can tell the differences. The pattern found around the collar continues toward the center of the kebaya and down to the sarong. On my shirt, it does not go down the center of the shirt.

So, I collected a LOT of SQ stuff from my roundtrip flight with SQ. This included the inflight magazines, KrisShop magazines, brochures, advertisements, boarding passes, luggage tags, carry-on bag tags, and a whole lot more... but the list is too long!!

Haha.. I wonder what MCSDM would say about my love for SQ... :D

Yes I am!! To be precise, it is not really a t-shirt but it is a buttoned shirt with a collar. I love it so much that I mentioned about it in the video description. The design of the kebaya is definitely beautiful!
