I live in Spokane also. They are everywhere! You just need to look and use the clues given here. North of ellensburg is really good too. We have really big ones in Washington state. Good shroom territory here.

Great video! We hunt similarly. We also have black here. I call the darker ones brown but grey works too. High five to the camera man also, they did a great job!

I enjoyed hunting for morels alot, it's so sad in some of the areas were so mosquito filled that we didn't stay lon in each spot

i thought u should always use a onion sack 2 let the spores fall back 2 the ground instead of leaveing them in the plastic bag

How could you dislike this?
next time use a mesh bag or patatoe sack...that way,while you are walking out,u will drop spores throughout the woods,and more will grow in that area

Yeah that a good system. I also make sure after finding one that I circle that area a ways out then move on. I'm going to hit it hard this year. Around here where I live, late May into June is the best time to hunt.
