yes that is true, the quest is given by the barricade brothers i believe. either way, to get to one of them you still have to do j/q or VIP to lower ascent several times???

Theives do NOT get to go "invincible" from Dark Sight (the skill you're seeing). It protects them from any physical damage, but their speed is is reduced, they can't attack, and can still be hit with magic attacks.
