DCU Drama Presents - The Vagina Monologues - in aid of UNICEF

The Vagina Monologues is the flagship event of the global V-Day movement, with thousands of events taking place simultaneously in aid of charities across the world.

First performed in 1996, the Vagina Monologues was the brainchild of Eve Ensler, and came about as a result of a series of interviews with women, with a view to breaking the taboos surrounding female individuality and sexuality.

"It started as vagina conversations with friends, which became vagina interviews, which became vagina monologues."

The Vagina Monologues have gone on to become a symbol for female freedom of expression, and have been performed annually by hundreds of celebrities worldwide as part of The V-Day movement.

Ticket price includes entry to the Paparazzi After-Party.

10% of proceeds will go to the V-Day Movement, with the remaining 90% in aid of UNICEF Ireland.
