Since there is no East Village yet on YouTube, I thought I'd add some..
Active in the late eighties and early nineties, this lot brought some of the nicest moodiest autumnal pop songs with a strong sixties influence. Never came much further than supporting McCarthy and the House of Love, though now there is a new interest in their music.

Because the old vid started to annoy me beyond belief, I decided to replace it with a new one. Comments will be preserved (under my name). Sorry for the inconvenience - please note that all my vids are made in less than 3 minutes!

  • Oh yes!! I have this on a cassette, bootlegged from the fantastic Peter Easton show on BBC Radio Scotland ('Rock on Scotland'/'Beat Patrol') Lovely to hear it in tape-hiss free stereo!!

    On the same C90, from around the same months as it was released, is tracks by: North of Cornwallis, The Pastels, Groovy Little Numbers, Lilac Time, Weddoes, Too Much Texas, Caretaker Race, Wild Swans, The Big Maybe, The Witching Hour, Let's Go Naked, White Sisters, The Waltones. What an era!!!
