Just one day

This is a song I wrote for every addict from the one still suffering in the streets to the ones with 25+ years clean. I myself have 90 days clean. With the help of Narcotics Anonymous I am recovering from my addictions and well on my way to a better life. The recording is not great and you can tell I am nervous, but I carry a message of hope. Just one day at a time is all it takes. Just for today I am clean.

doesnt matter if its religious or not... better than the hell i lived in before.... anything is better then the life as a druggie... been there - never going back... today 319 dayz clean, thanks to 12 steps, my therapi,my family and me... thank god for that....

Congrats on 319 days!!! Way to go!! I have 334 days today. 11 months clean thanks to this program that saved my life.

12 step recovery groups are dangerous religious cults that take advantage of addicts for the purpose of religious indoctrination. There are better ways... You are young, pretty and talented... don't waste your life pissing and moaning in a church basement.

We have most definitely heard this before.

1st. NA is a Non-religious program.

2nd. I'm Christian either way so if it was religious I'd still be there

3rd. I am alive because of this program. I have kicked drugs and at this point am 6 months clean for the first time since I was 13 so for me this is the "better" way.

Sounds like you are kind of smart too...

I'm sure that, in time, you'll come to understand what I mean when I say that AA is the religion that claims not to be religious.
