Marcel Leroux (died 2008) believed global warming was primarily caused by natural processes. former Professor of Climatology, Université Jean Moulin, in 2005 he said: "The possible causes, then, of climate change are: well-established orbital parameters on the palaeoclimatic scale, ... solar activity, ...; volcanism ...; and far at the rear, the greenhouse effect, and in particular that caused by water vapor, the extent of its influence being unknown. Frederick Seitz (1911-2008) believed global warming was primarily caused by natural processes. Former solid-state physicist, former president of the National Academy of Sciences, in 2001 he said: "So we see that the scientific facts indicate that all the temperature changes observed in the last 100 years were largely natural changes and were not caused by carbon dioxide produced in human activities

@impactintact1 maybe you should watch the video again... venus is no model for the earth venus never had life on it or the same type of atmosphere, can you tell me how much CO2 is in the air? how about how much of it we are responsible for which is about 0.12% 12 cents out of 100 dollars.... solar cells the way they are now are inefficient we could use cold fusion and coil technology basically the free energy being hidden from us but us using oil is negligible in any sort of affects

If I'm for saving whales I must be against the people living in the third world .... there is exageration in every quarter ..... I don't necessarily trust Green Peace either. Whoever is right, changes such as those experienced in the little ice age and the medieval warm period will have a much greater effect on people today because there are so many more of us with large population centers on or near the ocean. It won't take much to make a huge difference. Back in the early middle ages, there were fewer people on earth than there are now in the United States.

to improve the energyeffiency in USA ist a thankfull doing in regard to prevent the worst. Many small steps combined bring us all closer to survive. Use all energyrecources : insulation of buildings in combination with solar cells (additional electricity an heat/couling), Windpower, Waterpower (use of tidemovements), Earthheat (many areas in US), not al least Hydrogen. This is also very good for the economy, initial investments into a more independent future. OIL is STONEAGE.

most frankly : 1 Freedom is the most truthfull comment about earth`s biosphere ( the most importent life support system for mankind ). The CO2 content in earth`s biosphere is currently above 340ppm. This is the highest content over the past 600.000 years, the age of greenlands oldest ice. Greenlands melting iceflow into the northatlantic is likely one of the reasons for the slowing of the northatlantic gulfstream (-30% over the last decades). 2 : the biggest WASTE of energy in USA (Eeffiency)
