Elk Grove Man, Brad Dayley, Accused Of Molestation

An Elk Grove man has been arrested on suspicion of molesting a relative over the past three years, police said.

Bradley Alan Dayley, 38, remained in jail Thursday on charges of engaging in repeated sexual acts with a child, sexual exploitation of a child by means of photos and distributing child pornography online, records show.

Dayley's home on Foremast Court in Elk Grove was searched by police on Wednesday, according to Officer Chris Trim of the Elk Grove Police Department.

"As a result of the search warrant, we discovered photographs and videotape evidence of sexual molestation," Trim said.

Trim said at this point, police do not have evidence of other victims in the case.

Dave Harris is the neighbor who said the child molestation confession he heard shocked him.

"He said that he had porn, that he was passing porn back and forth on the Internet," Harris said.

He said the suspect then admitted to sexually molesting a relative of his.

"I asked him to get out of my garage, get out of my garage," Harris said.

Dayley's bail was set at $500,000.

Trim said if anyone notices strange, inappropriate or suspicious activities that involve young girls to contact authorities.
