I live in Arvada, Colorado and would like to know where the best spots for gold metal detecting are.
Ps I have the same metal detector as you. I'm just kinda new to the metal detecting world!
Thank you for any help I can get,

Hello Conner, I haven't personally prospected Colorado, but I'm sure if you visit my gold prospecting forums off my main website page. I would recommend you search placer areas in Colorado and look for any type of publications. Hope I was able to help. Rob's Detector Sales

Hello Micmoable, Just about all the Southwestern states in the US are gold bearing. Not sure where you are located, but research your area for gold nuggets or history of gold mining. You might be near a gold bearing location and not even know it. If you need help with Minelab metal detectors, give us a call at - 623-362-1459

Hello Guys, The average depth of most targets might only be a few inches to about 8 inches in depth. However, the Minelab can find targets much deeper, depending on size, shape, mineralization, settings, accessories and such. There are a lot of variables, but I have found gold nuggets nearly 3 foot in depth, while others are right on the surface. Call 623-362-1459 or email us at - auplacers@yahoo.com for more info.
