This is just wonderful news! It is incumbent upon us all to fully support these diplomatic measures. These are innocent people (mostly women and children!) systematically being tortured and murdered by their own government! After the WWII Holocaust, the whole world collectively promised NEVER AGAIN! If we take our values seriously, we have to take the genocide in Darfur seriously.
The Bush administration left the world is a shambles but we can walk and chew gum at the same time. We can address genocide AND achieve health care reform AND get the economy back on track if we pull together as a nation and take power away from those who are still trying to -divide- America, the Glenn Becks and the Sarah Palins and the Michael Savages.
