The only silver lining to this black cloud will be watching the faces of naive Obama-bots when nothing actually changes.
Not only is Obama just another pol, but the fiscal crisis will prevent him from doing much on any of his campaign promises.

single: "Change" is a very broad term. Of course I want change...but I want change that's consistent with my personal beliefs. I oppose Obama's view on higher taxes and expanded government, so yes, I'm afraid Obama will bring the type of change I disagree with.
But, so far it appears he's building a Centrist, pragmatic administration which is just fine with me. Per my first post, I'm much enjoying the dismay of the far Left; it appears Obama's "change" isn't what they thought it would be.

No kidding, alot of Obama-bots supported him cause he said he was gonna end the war in Iraq in 18 months, now he's saying "We must end it responsibly" Which means the original plan of 2011 will most likely happen any way.

I'll check into those numbers later this weekend when I get time. The money contributions I brought up were among deployed troops. All of these polls take into effect vets and non-deployed troops. So that obviously trends towards McCain. Find me a poll among deployed troops who have really had to think about the policies of the war.

The point is McCain's been there & knows what's at stake. 0bama's been in a classroom & is an empty & unqualified theorist... his words mean nothing; he has no record of reform or credentials whatsoever. You fell for the wash; he was an extremely risky choice on all fronts!
But let's hope it works out!
