Edie Adams (born Elizabeth Edith Enke on April 16, 1927) is an American singer, Broadway, television and film actress.
Born in Kingston, Pennsylvania, Adams is a graduate of both the Juilliard School of Music and the Columbia School of Drama, and in 1950 was "Miss U.S. Television".

Edie had a string of beauty salons called edie adams cut and curl. I always loved her glamourous hirdos and frequented her salons for perms and shampoo/sets.

I had my first boy-girl thing with Edie Adams when I was all of seven. Was she gorgeous or aht? Remember those "Here's Edie" specials on ABC in the early 60's? But that series she had with Sid Ceaser??? Terrible. Probably wrecked her career. I still love you, Edie. RIP.
