@clive90125 The song is from Elegies For Angles Punks and Raging Queens, which was a song cycle with monologues and songs inspired by patches on the AIDS quilt. All of the monologues were told from the point of view of those who have passed away from AIDS. All of the songs were from the point of view of the survivors, or the loved ones who have lost people to AIDS. There's not a lot of info about the context of this song in particular, but these two people in this girl's life...
