no, all animals are killed within 5 days in most humane societys. i saved all my animals from there, including my cute rabbit, which was one day away from extinction

you are completely right man, we all need to join the fight against them. im dam sure they are the reason that pitbulls have bad steryotypes. and that animals are tortured and killed. they just want to kill the animals. and get lots of money to do so.

i agree with your fight. the humane society is an evil, evil place that encourages pit bull steryotypes and tortures and kills animals to the point that i believe every animal in their reach will be dead by 2012

Many of my family members live in Fl and have birds. My parents had a blue front Amazon. They never caged him. He knew everyone by name. They took him everywhere. Blue visited every state and national park in the US including Alaska, but not Hi. He travelled in their motor home. He talked, sang, danced, and waved by-by to anyone going out the door. He said night-night when it was time to cover him up. He was happy and well adjusted until he died of a virus

My birds as slaves? More like I'm a slave to my birds.

So, you're saying if an animal rips your face off, it's not domesticated? Hmmm dogs have killed more ppl in the USA in the last year than snakes have in the last 30 years! And dogs are considered domesticated.

Did I ever say that HSUS rescued birds? No. I also never said that birds didn't come from breeders. You may want to get your facts straight. You could breed tigers for twenty years that wouldn't make them all of a sudden domesticated. They are still wild animals. Educate yourself!!!!

@vtbirdlover

And breeding dogs for thousands of years will not make them completely safe to be around. You cannot completely retard the instincts/behavior of an animal. When not raised with human contact, dogs become feral and form packs like wolves do. Domesticating an animal doesn't automatically make it love being kept as a pet or make it safe. Personally, I'd rather be in a room with a captive bred and raised cougar than a feral german shepherd plucked from the street.
