@sample21383 Those vids are vids of drummers in church, not necessarily of how drummers should be in church. So far it seems like you are coming from a more limited perspective, (youtube vids of different styles????) while my perspective comes from serving in a wider range of situations and paying attention to what really gets people to stand up and sing their hearts out to the Lord. That's different from the stuff you often get to see on youtube... :)

I am a drummer... A DAMN good one... You have no idea how offensive i find this video.... Hold the sticks right has nothing to do with how it sounds... So if a guy like Spanky from Tye tribbet band had no thumbs and still played like he does you wouldnt want him bc he cant hold the sticks right! Ive been playing for my church since i was seven and 3 - 6 months of learning your scale or style of play would not happen ever! I play how i play and if you dont like it then DUECES my dude! You whack!

the comments that have been left dont be discouraged by them learn from them, I know they seem harsh but like i said if the same things are being said in almost every comment but the comments just keep getting harsher maybe this is God trying to tell you to learn from these but you arent paying attention so he just keeps getting louder and louder till you hear him hence the harsher and harsher comments. Remove the video and make a revised better one. God Bless

Keeps time good and overall makes the song feel good. What i suggest is giving the drummer your auditioning a recording of the songs you sing and see how he plays them. What I was trying to tell you is what some of the harsher comments are saying what you want is very biased and not necesarily what you need in a drummer. Please listen to what im saying dont take thes comments as the devil discouraging you take them as God trying to help you but you arent listening. Remove this video and study

Hey invisibleworkmuscician I see the comments get more and more negative since we last spoke. What i was trying to do before was help you tweak this video so you wouldnt face criticism like this. Normally i would say these people are all haters and they dont know what there talking and your just taking crap from them cause there jealous but in this case i agree with alot, i just choose not to be as harsh on you about it.
