  • Boy oh Boy, don't they wish they had 600 more people to bag sand in Iowa? Sucks to be there.

  • About time! Jail the company officials that hired them! They do not do jobs Americans won't,they just accept pay Americans will not. I have had many friends that worked in these places in the 70's. they earned 16.00+ per hour. A good wage at the time. Now they pay 8.50 to 9.00 per hour. No we won't do that job for that kind of money.

  • If they don't want their families "disrupted" then don't come here illegally! They only have themselves to blame.

  • Everyone crys when ICE does their job ! Don't do the Crime plain and simple , I think Ice treats Illegals to well . Enforce and deport !

  • This doesn't do anything to curb illegal immigration besides disrupt families and communities. If you want to solve the problem of illegal immigration, their hiring and wage stagnation, it would be best to enforce labor laws effectively across the board for all workers regardless of immigration status. Any employers paying less than minimum wages or mistreating their workers should be fined and possibly jailed and have their license taken away. That would stop the incentive for illegal imm.

  • As long as there are employers who will hire them they will come. If the employers were put in jail, and put out of business, the problem would end abrubtly. The employers know, but aren't held responsible for checking - it is all about money. It isn't the exploited worker who we should hate, it is the employer who exlpoits them. The workers are just desperate for work.

  • Really, I don't care what denomination it is. I am an ELCA Lutheran, but if they insisted on harboring illegals, I'd have to vehemently disagree. In a recent issue of The Lutheran, they addressed this issue and said as Christians, we should be helping instead of hurting them. Now back up, are our leaders in Chicago condoning this? I hope to God not.

  • Point well taken any church that takes them in ,they should strip them of tax-exempt status

  • I think ICE needs to check some of these Catholic Churches' basements. If any church insists on giving these illegals santuary, the IRS should strip them of tax-exempt status.

  • Go ice , To bad the bleeding hearts are running to the rescue ! Aka Catholic Church
