We try a special beer on Christmas Eve. St. Bernardus Abt 12 is a Belgian Abbey Ale. The label says that it "is a living ale, which can be aged for up to 15 years and will satisfy the taste of even the most discriminating connoisseurs." Check out what we thought!
Love me some Quad's & Belgian Strong Dark Ale's. Finally tried this great beer yesterday and was blown away. Luckily the bar across the street from me has a mini Belgian Fridge with great beer. A+ for me.

Yeah, dark fruits, complex flavors? Vinegar is very complex. I really believe you have to go to Belgium to get the real deal. Corsendonk christmas and Chimay are good bottled. Otherwise, grab your passport.

One of my favorite beers. It changed my whole perception of what beer can be when I first tried it.
