@FullTimeFreak2 I lived in Woodland Park, CO during this mess. I couldn't sleep at all either... due to the same reasons. The orange glow creped me out so much to where I couldn't sleep, the smell was horrid. I am happy that they stopped it before it hit Woodland Park, though... or else my life would have been destroyed as I knew it.
Thanks for uploading this video. It brings back very good memories (And very bad ones, like the fire it's self. It still was a sight to see... it was cool to see)

@northfork1218 Thank you very much!

whats the name of the first song

the fire started because a park ranger(LMAO) had a ring of fire type thing and she was burning a letter from her husband who was, i guess a bad husband(i dont know details) and so it went out of control and started the big fire. She was in jail for twelve years, and whats funny, is that the judge lived around the fire and his house had dense smoke or something so if it wasn't for the judges, house, then she would have been in jail for less years

How did the fire end? Did the wind change? A shower?
-
she's already been released after serving 3 years of a 12 year sentence

the fire in the vid is the hayman fire. The question is there's a new fire? In colorado springs? One would think we'd hear about it, I live in Denver now.
What's the name of the first song please? Oh, yeah, and thanks for putting up this video. I remember when i was really little and we were packing our stuff to evacuate. The smell is definitely going to haunt me forever. I couldnt sleep forever. The orange glow at night, the smell, and especially right now when you drive through there. The emptiness just feels evil.

I'm glad you liked the video! It was a BIG fire - I walked out my back yard at 7 a.m. on the 9th and it was already a huge column! I think it ran 15 miles and burned approximately 60,000 acres on the 9th.
