A Jonas Sister Story, Ch.30

Joe's POV:

I woke up with Caiden still curled up on top of me. I smiled and lightly kissed her head. She turned over a little bit and a smile appeared on her face.

"Joey..." She mumbled softly.

"Yes, love?" I asked as I stroked her hair.

"My bottom hurts," she said quietly.

I remembered that she left before I could give her any lotion. "Do you want some lotion, Caidy?" she nodded slowly.

I shifted in the bed and got up to get the lotion then I pulled her over my lap and removed her pajamas and panties and gently rubbed lotion on her red bottom.

"Thanks Joey," she said as I replaced her panties and pajama bottoms. I sat her on my lap and she wrapped her arms around my neck. "I love you," she whispered quietly.

"I love you too baby," I said with a smile. She kissed my cheek and smiled.

Just then Kevin knocked on the door, "Come in," I said. He came in with a smile and leaned against my desk.

"Morning you two," he laughed.

"Morning Kevy," Caiden said hopping off my lap and giving Kevin a hug. He leaned down and kissed her cheek. "Breakfast is on the table," Kevin said to her. "Yummy," she said causing me to chuckle she walked to the door but before she left she turned to me, "Aren't you coming, Joey?" she said looking over at me.

"I'll be down in a little bit Caid," I said, hinting that I wanted to talk to Kevin alone. She nodded and left.

Kevin sat down on the bed next to me. "What's up?" he asked as I looked over at him. "Do you think I was too hard on Caiden?" I said in a whisper as I looked down. Kevin placed his hand on my shoulder. "Joe, I think you were just doing your job. She was disrespectful and you were teaching her a lesson, you know that Dad would have been a lot harder on her." I nodded.

"I know, it just hurt so much when she pushed me away," I said with tears making their way to the rim of my eyes. Kevin pulled me onto his lap and let me cry into his chest.

"Joe, calm down. I know it hurts but it's over. She forgives you and you forgive her," He said in a soft voice. I nodded, "You're right," I said forcing a smile on my face. Kevin kissed my head and I hopped off this lap and we walked down the stairs into the kitchen.

I walked downstairs to see Caidy putting syrup on pancakes. When she saw me her face let up and she smiled, that made me happy. "Joey!" she said closing the syrup bottle and putting it down. I sat down at the table and she came over bringing two plates of pancakes. "I made you a plate Joey," she said sitting them on the table and sitting on my lap.

"Thanks Caidy," I said as I kissed her cheek. She giggle "You're welcome," she said resting her head on my chest as we ate breakfast.

Sometimes I wish I was Caiden.
