this is my second video on surds it shows more methods including rationalising the denominator there are examples of one other thing before that which i call rule 1 in the video i also give 3 practice problems at the end remember practice is very important any questions about the topic you can leave on my video and i will reply when i have time

can anybody help me with my maths question by rationalising the denominators 8

( root 6 plus 2 )square

square means like 3 x 3 or 20 x 20 thank u

well you can square the bracket on the bottom and get 6+2root6+4 which is 10+2root6 then cancel top and bottom by dividing by 2 not the 6 tho and get 4/5+root6 then multiply top and bottom by 5-root6 and get 20-4root6/5+6 adding the 5 and 6 on bottom we get 20-4root6/11 as the final answer hope this helps
