Response To Joe American

Joe American has described a challenge to American Politician's to become leaders and what "he believes" needs to be done. The issue I believe is WHAT and by WHOM. Think Energy Independence as in ZeroPoint energy and Sonoluminescence. Try that in GOOGLE and you will see what I mean..... and then think of a new candidate for President as we have none worth voting for! We have a job to do, to save America!

I'm not sure who is right here - Dr Joe or Joe American. What I do know is that America is spinning out of control because we have lost sight of what American stands for. When did the morals of our country change? When did things get so bad we can't even find a viable candidate for the highest office in our land? Energy - Global Warming - Illegal's having more rights than US Citizens? Where do we start? When does this end?

Is America out Of control? This is NOT the question....it is WHO is controlling America! Our voices, as the "little people" who make up America, are not heard. However, the power of corporations to dictate and be responded to by congress is frightening! Remember since 1976 (the OPEC oil embargo) nothing has been done for us "little people" As Eisenhower warned, beware the military industrial complex! The transnationals that are dictating our children's futures!

Excellent, Dr. Joe! That would indeed work. But see my comment to dquick8. They won't support energy independence because where will their jet-set lifestyle go?!?! Patriots? Idealists?

"We can't drill, it'll be 10 YEARS!!!" If we'd started when we wanted to, we'd have had our own oil for 20-30 years already.

But you ARE absolutely right, there ARE other ways.

I personally believe there is one huge yes to your comment. The pols are "self-serving", and serving their very wealthy clients. Young, bright, sharp, they go to DC with stars in their eyes...and then they get bought. Once they're in power(and you know power corrupts, etc) all they want is to stay there. And money talks.

You got it most of this "right on" DQ! If the baby boomers had learned from their parents and practiced more of what they received, we would not have lost our moral standing! As for Social Security my dad use to say to me there would be no money left for him! We won't have SS because the kids of today won't go to work! They won't work because they don't understand responsibility! That isn't the baby boomers - that's the BB's KIDS that cause this issue!

Quit being a baby. Take resposibility for your own life, stop being a victim and blaming everybody else. Also, what makes you think there is no social security. That rumor has been going around for 30 years or more.

Joe America will not allow disagreement. I tried to post that global warming is hoax and that government run health care is not a good idea.

I agree with you about Politicians being selfserving. I disagree with you about my gen. having the "good life". Thanks to your gen. mine has no soc.sec.,no moral compass given, and no understanding of consequence to action. All those lawsuits of cant spank a child cant raise a voice to a child and completely removing all authority from education admin.'s has morally bankrupted my gen. if only the babyboomers would have remembered spare the rod spoil the child my gen wouldnt be how it is today.
