I am a 38 owner and also very interested in how you accomplished the lighting on the helo. It looks really cool! I used to fly these in the Marines and have a fuselage being painted to match the bird I used to fly. Can you provide some more detail on how you lit it up, especially the blades?? I know you commented below that you got the lights on ebay, but I have seen nothing of the sort anywhere on the web. Again, very cool! Does it still fly???

@tommcg46 Get them all on ebay, the white and red body lights are made to order and run off a seperate 9 vlt batt. Type in battery operated LED's and you should find them

i picked up a light kit and look forward to putting it together. Before that I wanted to paint it. My local RC shop had it for 2 weeks with no luck. Any idea of what paint products will work on this fuselage?? Anyone??

Mate, you should be able to pick up simple model paints at your local model shop. check out my Super Cub vid, only took a couple of hours with a steady hand.

Like I said, my model/RC shop hasd it for 2 weeks and couldnt get anything to stick to that fuselage. Try and paint your 38 and tell me what you used.
