  • Hey Chappers, love your lights on the walkera chinook, anyway you can show how to install them and where you bought them.Thank's Tom

  • @tommcg46 Get them all on ebay, the white and red body lights are made to order and run off a seperate 9 vlt batt. Type in battery operated LED's and you should find them

  • i picked up a light kit and look forward to putting it together. Before that I wanted to paint it. My local RC shop had it for 2 weeks with no luck. Any idea of what paint products will work on this fuselage?? Anyone??

  • Mate, you should be able to pick up simple model paints at your local model shop. check out my Super Cub vid, only took a couple of hours with a steady hand.

  • Like I said, my model/RC shop hasd it for 2 weeks and couldnt get anything to stick to that fuselage. Try and paint your 38 and tell me what you used.

  • Mate, I dont need to paint it, it looks great as it is!

  • Thank's Chapper

  • do the blades light up like that?

  • Cheers, this little heli flies great! type in LED Flybars, AIRY HARDEN BLADES II, Battery operated LED's on ebay you should have some luck there. Send us a vid when you get up and running yeah?

  • I am a 38 owner and also very interested in how you accomplished the lighting on the helo. It looks really cool! I used to fly these in the Marines and have a fuselage being painted to match the bird I used to fly. Can you provide some more detail on how you lit it up, especially the blades?? I know you commented below that you got the lights on ebay, but I have seen nothing of the sort anywhere on the web. Again, very cool! Does it still fly???
